As one of the iconic pony cars produced between 1969 and 1974, the first-generation Dodge Challenger holds a special place in automotive history. This 1973 example showcases classic design with a bright red finish and contrasting black decals that highlight its timeless shape.
Under the hood sits a 440 cubic-inch V8, bored 0.030 over and topped with a Six Pack carburetor setup. Power is sent through a 727 TorqueFlite automatic gearbox, giving the car a satisfying driving feel. A Flo-Master exhaust delivers a strong note, reinforcing its authentic Mopar identity. The car rides on period-correct Mag wheels and is described as a solid runner that is ready for cruising.
Included with the sale are the original owner's manual and a substantial collection of historical paperwork, including receipts, service records, and the factory broadcast sheet. A thorough mechanical restoration was performed, with nearly every mechanical component and wiring replaced, and the process is documented with photographs.
