The Story
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Sport Coupe is a classic American performance machine with timeless styling and strong V8 power. The exterior wears its factory Fathom Blue finish, while the interior is trimmed in black vinyl. Factory equipment includes a black vinyl top, Soft-Ray tinted glass, Strato-bucket front seats, air conditioning, power steering, a close-ratio 4-speed manual gearbox, and a functional cowl-induction hood.
A full frame-off restoration was performed in 2006, and the car now presents in show-quality condition. As part of that work, the 396 cubic-inch V8 received new valves, rocker arms, piston rings, aluminum cylinder heads, an MSD ignition system, and a 750 CFM carburetor to sharpen performance.
The restoration is supported by its original paperwork, build receipts, and photos. Removed stock parts are available to include with the sale. This Chevelle is ready for driving, has a history as a show winner, and represents an excellent investment opportunity.
